In June 2025, White Settlement experienced a significant drop in crime rates, with property crime decreasing by 65% and violent crime by 42%, as reported by the White Settlement Police Department.

The department attributes the decline to strategic policing efforts and increased visibility of officers across the city. A recent social media update is capturing the attention of residents, as the department shared its latest statistics: 65 arrests, 450 traffic stops, and over 2,390 calls for service addressed in just one month.

Authorities acknowledged the Patrol Division for enhancing its presence and improving response times. The department reports that ongoing law enforcement actions are integral to a heightened crime prevention strategy initiated earlier this year, designed to address the seasonal uptick in criminal activity that usually arises in late spring and early summer.

“These figures demonstrate the impact of targeted law enforcement and active community involvement,” stated a representative from the department. “We remain alert, and we want the community to understand that we are present and diligently working to ensure their safety.”

A notable decline is observed after a month of heightened activity in May, a time that traditionally signals the beginning of a seasonal increase in criminal occurrences. The June figures indicate that the department's renewed focus is reversing this trend.

Community leaders and advocates for public safety have commended the department for its advancements. “It’s uplifting to witness such concrete outcomes,” stated Angela Ramirez, a community organizer from White Settlement and a dedicated proponent of public safety.

This level of advancement will require ongoing dedication and collaboration within the community, according to the leaders.

City officials emphasized how crucial it is for residents to engage in efforts to keep neighborhoods safe. Residents were urged to report any suspicious activity, engage in neighborhood watch initiatives, and keep themselves updated through official police communications.

Although the recent figures present an encouraging perspective, authorities warned against becoming too relaxed. “We’ve achieved significant milestones, but there’s still work ahead,” stated the department spokesperson. “Our aim extends beyond merely reacting to crime; it involves proactive prevention, which requires collective effort from all.”

Residents are encouraged to stay involved, as the city aims to capitalize on this momentum throughout the summer and into the future.
