Blue Bell Ice Cream is marking America’s upcoming 250th birthday celebration by bringing back a fan-favorite seasonal flavor just in time for summer.

The company announced the return of its Red, White & Blue Bell Ice Cream, now available in stores for a limited time. The patriotic-themed flavor combines strawberry and blueberry-flavored ice creams with vanilla ice cream and real blueberries in a single carton.

The product is being sold in half-gallon sizes while supplies last, according to the company.

“This season is filled with barbecues, Fourth of July parties, and sunny days by the pool,” said Carl Breed, Blue Bell’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Red, White & Blue Bell Ice Cream is a delicious treat for all those fun occasions.”

The release comes as Blue Bell continues to expand and rotate its lineup of new and returning flavors throughout the year.

In recent months, the Texas-based creamery introduced Black Raspberry Fudge and Brookie À La Mode, adding to its portfolio of specialty offerings. Earlier this year, the company also launched a new pint-sized protein line, along with Honey Vanilla Ice Cream, and brought back its Java Jolt flavor.

Blue Bell operates multiple production facilities, including one in Sylacauga, Alabama, as it distributes products across much of the southern United States.

The return of Red, White & Blue Bell aligns with increased demand for seasonal and limited-edition products tied to holidays and summer gatherings, a trend the company has leaned into in recent years.

No end date for the flavor’s availability has been announced.
